I was ready to pass this one by as we left Hurley and headed to Ashland, but since the brown highway sign said there was a marker ahead, we decided to pull into the wayside to see what we could see.
And we found it! (I have since reported it as re-found at the HMDB site.)
I’m not sure how to pronounce “Gogebic”, especially the second “g”.
The bucolic scene opposite the sign (looking south) is apparently part of that range.
